Three Afghan Khyber Knives (Charas)
Late 19th Century

Each with characteristic sharply-pointed single-edged blade, and beaked hilts each with ribbed horn grip-scales (some rust patination and minor damage), in their original wooden scabbards covered in black leather (damaged) with brass lockets and chapes embossed and chased with designs of foliage (some damage, one chape loose) (3)
