With two-stage brass barrels, octagonal breeches and plain brass tangs, characteristic flat bevelled locks (one steel expertly replaced) each engraved with foliage and involving a profile head on the tail, highly figured moulded full stocks each with impressed ownership mark on the butt (one with minor repair), foliate engraved mounts comprising pierced elaborate side-plates, pierced crowned escutcheons each centred on a grotesque mask, spurred pommels each with small grotesque mask cap, trigger-guards with foliate finials (one missing) and with a foliated grotesque mask on the bow, turned baluster ramrod-pipes, the rear ones each with foliate finial, brass fore-end bands, and original brass-tipped ramrods (one incomplete) (2)
