With russet octagonal sighted barrel signed in full along the top flat and stamped with three fleur-de-lys marks at the breech, gold-lined touch-hole, tang incorporating the back-sight and engraved with a foliate number '1', bright flat bevelled lock signed 'Carl Sterek (sic) In Wienn', moulded figured full stock (butt split through) carved with foliage behind the rear ramrod-pipe and around the barrel tang, brass mounts of shaped outline comprising flat bevelled side-plate, escutcheon finely engraved with owner's monogram, spurred pommel with ovoidal cap, trigger-guard and faceted ramrod-pipes, horn fore-end cap, and horn-tipped ramrod
