With barrel moulded at the muzzle, etched and gilt with foliage around the silver fore-sight and at the breech, top flat extending to the fore-sight and with etched and gilt signature at the breech (gilding worm), engraved tang, signed border engraved flat bevelled lock (cock an old replacement) decorated with a part martial trophy on the stepped tail, moulded figured full stock carved with foliage behind the rear ramrod-pipe and around the barrel tang, border engraved iron mounts decorated with trophies of arms and comprising shaped flat bevelled side-plate, spurred pommel with grotesque mask cap within an engraved garland, trigger-guard with foliate finial and entwined foliage on the bow, crowned pierced foliate silver escutcheon engraved with owner's monogram, a grotesque mask below, and turned iron ramrod-pipes (ramrod missing, some wear overall)
