With browned octagonal sighted barrel signed in silver along the top flat at the breech, threaded for a bore-plug (missing) at the muzzle, and cut with an aperture on the underside for applying percussion caps to the nipple, adjustable back-sight, foliate engraved tang and border engraved flat lock, hammer en suite and linked to the stricker, figured half-stock, butt with cheekpiece and chequered grip, the latter with an iron mount for a peep-sight (missing) above, shaped iron side-nail plate en suite with the lock, imitation ebonised butt-plate, wooden spur trigger-guard with large scroll at the rear, engraved iron pineapple-shaped finial, and set trigger (sling mounts missing)
