Similar to the last, with border engraved rounded lock (some rust patination and pitting) with 'GR' crowned and 'Tower' across the tail, original figured three-quarter stock (fore-end split on one side) stamped 'SD' behind the side-plate, and regulation brass mounts including shaped flat side-plate engraved '8' over '31', London proof marks
