A 16-Bore New Land Pattern Flintlock Service Pistol
Circa 1800

With plain barrel and tang (some light pitting), the former stamped '12' forward of the touch-hole, recoloured flat bevelled lock (top jaw and screw replaced) with 'GR' crowned and 'Tower' across the tail, the latter sparsely engraved with foliage, figured full stock stamped with a 'P' crowned opposite the lock, regulation brass mounts including trigger-guard engraved 'W-Y-C' over 'M/82' (probably for West York Cavalry), and stirrup ramrod, King's proof marks
