With blued sighted barrel retained by two barrel bands, the forward one incorporating a bayonet lug on the right, calibrated folding adjustable back-sight, dated action with 'V.R' crowned above 'Enfield' on one side, figured butt (from a short-lever model) and fore-stock with circular Enfield arsenal mark, regulation steel mounts, sling loops, and original steel ramrod (in refurbished condition), Inspector's marks and proof marks
