The first of brass, comprising two symmetrical flat halves hinged at one end and finely engraved with scales for 'Iron Guns Proof ... Service ...' and 'Brass Guns Proof ... Service ...' and with a hand indicating 'Shot' on one side, signed in full and marked out in inches for 'Guns' on the other, hinged from '0' to '180' degrees, marked with a 12 in. rule, and with iron tips; the second of flat rectangular form and marked out from '½ to 42 diamr. of Shot' and '½ to 42 Diamr. of Guns' on one side (2)
