A Rare William IV Tipstave For The City Of Bristol
Dated 1832

Off tubular brass with acorn-shaped finial, the body engraved 'W IIII R' between a crown and the date, and 'St. James's Ward' above 'R.T.L.C.C.' in gothic script, all on one side, and with turned swelling hardwood handle pierced for suspension
31 cm.
