Westley Richards patent fully-selective single-trigger, the sides of the action-body with the makers name engraved in a scrolling banner surrounded by best foliate-scrollwork, the action-flat stamped Deeley's Patent No. 1, Anson & Deeley's Patent 1391, 'Safe' inlaid in gold, well-figured stock with chequered side-panels, semi-pistolgrip and renewed leather-covered recoil-pad, the oval engraved 'J.D.', horn-tipped forend with Deeley patent catch, the browned damascus barrels with game-rib engraved Westley Richards, 170 New Bond St., London
Weight 6lb. 11½oz., 14¼in. pull (13in. stock), 30in. barrels, both approx. I.C., 2½in. chambers, Birmingham Black Powder proof (bore-diameters marginal)
