Footnotes
Formerly the property of Edgar Percy, a 1930's England competition shot.
The vendor states that he and his brother became friends with Percy in later life, and that he often visited his brother's farm to give them tuition. When age forced him to give up shooting, he offered the gun to the vendor's brother for sale, and upon his death it passed to the vendor.
The twelve escutcheons list the following competition results:
Runner-Up Championship 1931
International Shield 1931
