With russet octagonal sighted barrel with very faint traces of maker's name along the top flat, foliate scroll engraved breech with white-metal lines, foliate scroll engraved tang and signed border engraved flat detented lock (hammer spur replaced), figured full stock with chequered rounded butt, foliate scroll engraved steel mounts comprising ovoidal butt-cap and blued trigger-guard with pineapple finial, vacant white-metal escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, and stirrup ramrod, London proof marks
