An Unusual 38-Bore Five-Shot Double-Action Percussion Revolver
No. 7873, Mid-19th Century

With octagonal sighted barrel (fore-sight missing) stamped with 'L.A.C' mark of the London Armoury Company on the left top flat, line engraved cylinder, plain frame with safety-stop on the right side, D-shaped trigger-guard chequered along the front, and chequered rounded butt (chequering worn, butt-trap plugged with wood, worn overall)
