With tapering blade double-edged towards the point and with two shallow fullers along the back over most of its length on each side, the fullers at the forte on one side with indistinct incised marks between punched 'twig' marks, the iron hilt of rounded bars comprising straight quillons swelling at the tips with small spherical buttons, side-rings, one enclosing a tongue-shaped plate and each linked to the knuckle-guard by an upcurved bar, the latter each joined at the centre by a bar linking it to the base of the knuckle-guard, faceted barrel-shaped pommel with button, and spirally-grooved grip bound with twisted iron and brass wire (some wear and rust patination overall)
