An Indian Bronze Cannon Barrel
Probably 18th/19th Century

With tapering two-stage barrel with muzzle issuing from a cast and chased monster's head set with a faceted imitation ruby on its fore-head, raised mouldings chased and punched with foliage, bud-shaped cascabel en suite, and plain trunnions: on later iron-mounted wooden carriage with open trail and spoked iron wheels
40 cm. barrel, 2.1 cm. bore
