With curved watered single-edged blade clipped-back at the point and fullered for most of its length on each side, the forte on both etched with a star and crescent between martial trophies representing the East and the West, and retaining faint traces of gilding, steel hilt with gold-damascened borders and comprising flat ovoidal quillons and pointed langets, the latter damascened on both sides with a star and crescent between, gold-damascened grip-strap, and rounded rhinoceros horn grips
