The hira-zukuri blade with one mekugi-ana, suguha hamon, the natural wood tsuka with horn fuchi-kashira decorated with stylised flower-heads, soft-metal menuki of figures riding on a catfish, and horn tsuba, in its wood saya with horn mounts decorated en suite, the lower section decorated in lacquer with a court cap and in horn and hardstone with a mirror, complete with wood kodzuka decorated with flowers and a horse bit in brass
