With tapering blade of flattened hexagonal section stamped 'IN IN IN' within the short fuller on each side of the forte, the ricasso struck 'CAINO' on one side and with Toledo mark on the other, large iron hilt of slender undulation bars comprising long straight quillons swelling towards the tips, arms linked on the inner and outer side to three concentric side-rings, the largest joined at the top by a curved bar to the knuckle-guard, the smallest each filled by a plate pierced and engraved with a symmetrical design of foliate scrollwork, heavy globose pommel decorated with horizontal lines of oval recesses, button en suite, wooden grip bound with steel and copper wire between Turk's heads en suite, and faint traces of gilding
