Early 17th Century
Of two triangular pieces of buff leather looped at the bottom and each with a brass buckle for adjustment, each buckle cast with a waved design, faced in green velvet (worn, faded and damaged) with galloon borders woven with a chevron pattern, heart-shaped gilt-brass hook-mount at the top cast and chased with a symmetrical design of scrolling foliage within a waved border, and with a further galloon strap (backing missing) with brass hook en suite
