Of bright steel, each with bell-shaped cuff with medial ridge and bluntly pointed turned and roped border, five articulated metacarpal plates, prominently ridged and roped knuckle-plate, shaped finger base-plate, overlapping finger-scales riveted to leathers, hinged five-plate thumb defence en suite, domed iron rivets throughout, and later leather gloves and lining (2)
