With slender sharply tapering blade of hollow triangular section etched and gilt on both sides at the forte with foliated strapwork and foliage, partly against hatched grounds, hilt comprising lobed rear quillon, broad side-loop cast, pierced and chased with ribbons and flowers, slender knuckle-guard, flattened globular pommel with button, and swelling grip, all cast, chased and partly gilt with rococo ornament and foliage, in original white shagreen-covered scabbard with parcel-gilt silver locket, chape and suspension mount en suite with the hilt, and with two silver rings for suspension (one reattached)
