With tapering blade of flattened ovoidal section, the forte on each side etched with gilt maker's details 'Jacobus Coenraadts Mr. Swaardveger Aghter de Beurs tot Amsterdam' between foliated strapwork, a running wolf beyond, characteristic hilt comprising double shell-guard, fluted quillon-block, arms, rear quillon with scrolled terminal, knuckle-guard and globular pommel with button, all cast and chased with foliage and elongated hollowed ovals against partly punched grounds, and swelling grip bound with twisted silver wire
