With colichemarde blade (some wear and pitting) of sharply tapering hollow triangular section retaining some etched decoration on both sides of the forte including a sun-in-splendor within an oval, hilt comprising slightly concave shell-guard of shaped oval form, quillon-block and globular pommel with button, all finely pierced and chiselled with foliated scrolls, fluted double quillons and knuckle-guard chiselled with foliage, and grip bound with gilt twisted wire and gilt ribbon
