An English Silver-Mounted Hanger
Circa 1700, Silver Maker's Mark HH Conjoined

With curved single-edged blade double-edged towards the point and struck with King's head mark on each side of the forte, swelling dark horn grip of octagonal section reinforced with vertical straps and with engraved domed pommel-cap (split), engraved collar, and short quillons with scrolled vertically recurved tips, in associated leather-covered scabbard (defective) with silver mounts, the locket struck with maker's mark WF
