Similar to the last, the knuckle-guard cast and chased on each side with a male bust on a pedestal, a crown above and a cherub's mask below, the terminal (old repair) extending into the mouth of a blackamoor's head, the latter on a cap with deeply engrailed edges, and natural buckhorn grip divided vertically by silver straps each engraved with pairs of lines, and basal ferrule en suite with the pommel-cap
