A 32-Bore Flintlock Travelling Or Overcoat Pistol

With reblued octagonal barrel with silver fore-sight and traces of maker's name along the top flat, platinum line and platinum-lined touch-hole, re-engraved tang, signed border engraved flat bevelled lock decorated with a starburst behind the semi-rainproof pan and with foliage on the tail, replacement safety-catch, and roller, figured half-stock (some bruising) with chequered rounded butt, border engraved steel trigger-guard with large pineapple finial and a flower-head on the bow, vacant silver escutcheon and barrel-bolt escutcheons (one loose), and later horn-tipped ramrod (some wear and rust patination), London proof marks
