With turn-off barrel engraved around the muzzle and fitted with spring bayonet (spring missing) beneath, action (top jaw and screw replaced) signed within an oval against a martial trophy on each side, engraved thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, trigger-guard engraved with a star on the bow, figured flat-sided butt, and vacant silver escutcheon (some pitting), Birmingham proof marks
