With blued turn-off barrel engraved with a broad band of foliage around the muzzle, bright rounded action signed within an oval against a martial trophy on each side, rectangular pan, engraved thumbpiece safety-catch also locking the steel, blued folding trigger, highly figured rounded butt, vacant silver escutcheon, and much of its original finish, Birmingham proof marks
