With octagonal sighted barrel engraved around the muzzle and retaining some original blueing, cylinder with recessed nipples, foliate scroll engraved rounded action with nipple-shield, foliate scroll engraved off-set bar-hammer, foliate scroll engraved trigger-guard retaining traces of original blueing, finely chequered figured rounded butt with rounded ovoidal butt-cap and hinged foliate scroll engraved circular butt-trap cover, and vacant white-metal escutcheon (minor rust patination), Birmingham proof marks
