With browned twist sighted barrel signed in full along the sighting flat at the breech and rifled with four wide grooves, blued folding adjustable ladder back-sight calibrated to 1000 yards,, plain case-hardened breech, tang, signed detented flat lock and rounded hammer, figured half-stock with chequered grip and fore-end, the latter with horn cap, brass mounts of regulation type comprising butt-plate, hinged rectangular patch-box cover and spur trigger-guard, turned brass rear ramrod-pipe, set trigger, sling mounts, original ebonised ramrod, and in fine condition retaining virtually all its original finish, London proof marks
