With tapering double-edged blade cut with two fullers forming a medial ridge over its entire length on each side, the forte on one side etched 'Klingenthal', hilt comprising steel guard finely chiselled in the round as addorsed boar's heads, their snouts forming quillons, slightly swelling reeded ivory grip, cushion-shaped ivory pommel en suite with vertically fluted medial band, and fluted ovoidal steel button, in original wooden scabbard covered in black leather (minor scuffing) with case-hardened locket and chape, the former with bear-mask frog-button, the latter with oval terminal chiselled with flower-heads, and some original finish
