A Dumonthier Lefaucheux Patent Combined Dagger And Six-Shot Pin-Fire Revolver Of Small Bore
No. 2765, Late 19th Century

With part octagonal barrel and single-edged blade slightly curved towards the point, the former indistinctly stamped 'Dumonthier B.S.C.D.C.'on one side, plain cylinder and frame, the latter with pivoting loading-gate, folding trigger, and rounded dark horn butt with lanyard ring (minor rust patination and recoloured overall), in its black leather scabbard (some damage) with white-metal chape and steel locket, the latter with cartridge-extracting rod on one side and frog-button on the other
