The First No. 4760 For 1852, The Second No. 2888, Mid-19th Century
The first of characteristic form, hinged together and with original cord-binding and leather-covered terminal on each arm, one stamped with the serial number, the other scratch engraved 'Sir Peirs Mosten (sic); the second with rectangular head for casting a long conical bullet, retaining its detachable long-handled lead-funnel also forming the sprue-cutter, and its hollow-point tool with turned swelling wooden handle (2)
