A Medieval Great Sword
Second Half Of The 14th Century

In excavated condition, with tapering double-edged blade (two lapped repairs) of flat section with narrow central fuller along each face of the forte, iron hilt comprising bow-tie shaped quillons, and circular chamfered pommel of lenticular section with separate button of flattened pyramidal shape
