With bright tapering blade double-edged towards the shortened point and cut with a fuller along the back for most of its length on each side, iron guard of slender rounded and scrolled bars framing, at the front, two S-shaped bars each set sideways, fore-guards, fluted bun-shaped pommel with separate button, and grip wrapped in blackened cloth, in wooden scabbard covered in blackened cloth
