The first with slightly curved tapering horn body of flattened oval section, silver mounts each with rounded inner border and engraved with symmetrical designs of nielloed scrollwork against a wrigglework ground on the outside, and centred on a nielloed floret en suite, the top with detachable mount en suite secured by a screw, struck with maker's mark and with a nielloed Arabic inscription along the inside, long nielloed sprung tap-lever carrying a ring for suspension, and original suspension strap woven with bullion threads terminating in three bullion tassels; the second of similar form, with plain dark horn body of tapering oval section, plain iron tap-lever, and ring for suspension; the third with curved iron body of tapering oval section, curved sprung iron tap-lever, and two suspension swivels; the last of finely twist iron, rifled with seven grooves, and converted from flintlock, with turned slightly swelling muzzle encircled by chiselled lozenges, and with foliate panels within line borders along the top, the breech struck with two maker's marks (4)
