With two-stage sighted barrel retained by six barrel bands, breech engraved with two waved lines along the top and with standing brass back-sight, plain brass-covered tang, large characteristic lock signed and dated in Arabic beneath the cock, partly overlaid with brass and chased with foliate designs overall, dog-catch engaging with the back of the cock en suite, leather finger-pad, figured three-quarter stock inlaid with pierced silver panels (one missing) along each side of the fore-stock and along the bottom of the triangular butt, the latter (old wired repair opposite the lock) profusely inlaid with foliage in silver wire and pellets (minor losses), ivory butt-plate (chipped), baluster trigger, and later ramrod
