The blade with two mekugi-ana, wide suguha hamon, fully bound tsuka with silvered fuchi-kashira engraved with foliage, gilt dragon menuki, and silvered tachi tsuba with dai-seppa engraved en suite, in its gold nashiji saya decorated in three colour gold lacquer with a dragon and clouds, the silvered mounts all engraved with foliage en suite
