The blade with one mekugi-ana, midare hamon with sunagashi, nashiji hada, fully bound tsuka with fuchi, kabuto-gane and tsuba of shakudo decorated with Kiri-mon in gold, and gilt menuki in the form of a dragon and vajra, in its red lacquered saya with shakudo mounts decorated en suite, complete with shakudo kodzuka decorated with gilt kiri in crashing waves
