the whole centred by a 13th century Limoges enamel circular plaque depicting an angel, issuing three arms, the arms depicting the winged lion of St Mark, the eagle of St John, and a saint, probably originally from a 15th century Italian processional cross; the knopped support terminating in a lobed base applied with two quatrefoil medallions depicting the eagle of St John and the ox of St Luke, probably also 15th century Italian, 28cm high (11" high).
