A white jade carving of a cat

18th/19th century
The feline carved seated on his back feet with the forelegs straight and paws touching as if stretching, the tail flicked to one side, the head turned slightly to the left, holding a flowering sprig in its mouth, with the paws well defined, the stone of white tone with minor inclusions.
