Kakejiku, in ink and colour on silk, depicting four adult monkeys and one young taking shelter from the cold inside toro (Japanese stone lanterns) beneath a snow-covered cypress tree, signed Horyu with two seals; with tomobako titled and signed by the artist Horyu dai with seal. 126.4cm x 41.3cm (49¾in x 16¼in). (2).
