Boldly decorated and thickly enamelled and gilt, the body of each vase inset with two lobed panels, one showing the sixteen rakan depicted with their respective attributes and the other with numerous karako and Chinese immortals in and gathered around a large tsuitate, reserved on a geometric motif ground, signed Meizan. 15.5cm (6 1/8in).
