The reddish brown body modelled in high relief on one side with Gomo seated on a Chinese chair beside books of learning and Koremochi defending himself against a surprise attack by two demons beneath a maple tree on the other, the cover surmounted by a knop in the form of a young Yoshitsune seated on rockwork, with separate circular stand, unsigned. 82cm (32¼in) high excluding the stand. (4).
