In the form of two overlapping ehon of Taketori Monogatari and Kokin waka shu, the titles inscribed in gold takamakie, decorated with a seated Kaguya hime on one book and a thatched building, torii gate, a drum-bridge and pine-clad beach on the other, all lacquered in gold and iroe-takamakie, e-nashiji, kirikane and togidashi, the sides, base and interior of rich nashiji, unsigned; with wood storage box. 5cm x 12.8cm x 15cm (2in x 5in x 5 7/8in).
