By Tounsai Jugyoku and Gyokuzan, 19th century
Both carved all over in low relief, the tobacco pouch decorated with a tiger prowling among bamboo plants on one side and a dragon emerging from stormy clouds above waves on the other, signed Tounsai Jugyoku, 11.5cm (4½in) high; the pipecase of otoshi-zutsu form carved with a dragon chasing a wild boar, signed in an oval reserve Gyokuzan, 22.6cm (8 7/8in) long. (2).
