Decorated in gold and iro-e takamakie and togidashi with a continuous scene of the foxes' wedding procession passing through a cryptomeria forest, one side depicting foxes dressed as samurai and the other with several more foxes carrying a palanquin containing the fox bride, unsigned; with ivory netsuke of a dancing fox, holding a fan and a suzu. 7cm (2¾in) high.
