All decorated in gold and slightly coloured takamakie; the first of wood with three cases, showing Shoki the demon-queller on one side and oni hiding in a cave on the reverse, unsigned, 5.6cm (2¼in) high; the second of roiro lacquer decorated with swallows flying over a lotus pond, with wood netsuke in the form of a cluster of Kyogen and Noh masks, unsigned, 7.6cm (3in) high; the third a nashiji-ground four-case inro showing a cart on one side and scattered ehon and a makimono on the other, with ivory netsuke in the form of a stylised sparrow, 8.1cm (3 1/8in) high; the fourth of gold lacquer with geese on the banks of a lake, unsigned, 8.1cm (3 1/8in) high; the fifth a four-case roiro lacquer inro decorated in togidashi with a Dutchman dancing on one side with a fan, and a drum and a horn on the reverse, with kagamibuta, unsigned, 8.2cm (3¼in) high.
