An identical panel is preserved in its original location in the funerary chamber of the mausoleum of Ostad Ali Nasafi in Samarkand dating to c. 1380 (see Jean Soustiel and Yves Porter, Tombs of Paradise, Saint-Remy-en-L'Eau 2003, p. 87.).
